Hello, just though I would give whoever wants to read this an update on whats been happening since I posted that first batch of pictures. It's been a long time since I've put work up but soon there shall be a lot more, work that I've produced throughout this past year at Grays, and maybe some older stuff to. My summer holidays are approaching rapidly so I will have lots of time to upload images and work on new projects.

Over the past year my work has become somewhat darker, not in subject, but in visual content. There were hints of it a good while back but studying the work of the English painter John Virtue has set the ball rolling and I have no idea just now when it will stop. Recently I felt I should move on from the style I have been workin in. Advice from tutors has changed that, and now I know I should get all I can out of the way i'm workin just now as it is still paying off in the studio.

So expect a lack of colour in my upcoming work, a lot of blacked out areas and what I feel is some of the best work I've done to date.
